Have you ever wanted to experience what the main TED conference is like? TEDGlobal is happening on Wednesday, October 8th and we have access to a live feed. So come join us and other TEDx events around the world who will be hosting TEDxLive events. At TEDxLive, we watch the official TED or TEDGlobal livestream.

 

TED has revealed some the speaker program for TEDGlobal 2014: South! Taking place for the first time in South America: Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where they’ll be celebrating the innovation, dynamism and creativity taking place all over South America and the global South.

This is a new kind of TEDx event that’s coming to Port of Spain – TEDxPortofSpainLive.

So what is TEDxLive? 

TEDxLive is an extension of the TEDx program launched by TED in 2010. It’s a TEDx event where communities gather to watch the live webcast of official, annual TED conferences. TEDxLive events enable TED enthusiasts all over the world to experience live sessions of the TED Conference.

 

The idea for TEDxLive grew out of a question : What would happen if we made the TED Conference more open and its impact more immediate and globally tangible? What would happen if communities around the world gathered to engage with—and build upon—the TED Conference experience while it happened?
