Website & News Section Launch

Welcome to the new TEDxPortofSpain web site. The purpose of the website is to showcase events, TEDxPortofSpain talks and TEDxPortofSpain Salon events in a manner that is easily accessible.

The new site includes an exciting feature. We’ve included a News section, which will serve as a blog and forum for sharing ideas and continuing conversations after the TEDxPortofSpain conference in December 2012. This year’s event will be on December 12th at the Central Bank Auditorium in Port of Spain, with the theme of Courage. “Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak, Courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.” – Sir Winston Churchill. No matter how you define courage, we all have moments when despite our greatest fears, we must find the courage continue to act.  Join us on 12.12.12 as we explore the theme of “Courage”.

Nominate A Speaker

If you know someone who belongs on our roster, or if you belong there yourself, we want to hear from you! Please use our Speaker Recommendation Form, and tell us why this person would be well-matched to theTEDxPortofSpain stage. We are always looking for presenters who inform and inspire, surprise and delight. We know you know some remarkable people with great stories and ideas worth sharing. The goal here is to able to help put local ideas on the global stage!

Please note: Multiple nominations for the same person won’t influence the speaker selection team in any way. We review every nomination that comes in, and it only takes one.
