Host Cheyenne (2016)

Born in Montreal, Quebec and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Cheyenne Baptiste is a graduate from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. After graduating, Cheyenne Baptiste spent seven (7) years as a Child & Youth Care Worker and a Transitional Support Worker in the area of Social Services. In 2006 Cheyenne took a new career path in Marketing Communications and then later pursued a postgraduate programme in Public Relations and Corporate Communications at Centennial College.

He enjoyed a brief stint as an Entertainment Public Relations Coordinator and was involved in several large events such as Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), Fashion Week and the Hot Docs Documentary Film Festival. Cheyenne is now based in Trinidad and Tobago and currently works at PSI Caribbean (a global health NGO) as a Social Media and Communications Officer managing their website and all social networking platforms. On April 2013, Cheyenne represented PSI Caribbean as a delegate speaker at the World Social Marketing Conference in Toronto where he presented PSI Caribbean’s work and spoke on the impact of digital marketing and social media messaging in the Caribbean.

Cheyenne is part of the TEDxPortofSpain team and also freelances as a brand and social media/communications strategist . He is a food enthusiast, coffee snob, an avid record collector, DJ/music curator and food blogger on his ‘limited’ spare time.
