How much does a ticket cost?
TEDxPortofSpain is a not-for-profit event and we rely on our partners to help us lower the cost of staging this event. The ticket price for TEDxPortofSpain 2014 is TT$400.00.
What does the ticket cost entail?
The TEDxPortofSpain 2014 experience includes a day of dynamic and moving speakers talking about how they are pursuing their passions; the opportunity to socialise with community members who share your interests and passions and lunch. There will be an after party at xxx.
Is there a list of public attendees to see who’s coming?
We are unable to share a list of attendees. There will be time for you to network and mingle before and after the event.
Can I send someone in my place?
We do not encourage this as we ask participants to take the time to reserve tickets. If you are unable to use the ticket, you can email the PDF to the person you are sending in your place or you can give them your paper ticket. Please note that once your barcode is scanned, no one else will be able to enter using that barcode.
Can I come and go as I please?
Yes you can, but we recommend staying for the entire event just as you would for a theatre play. Lunch is from 12:00-1:30 p.m.
What if I show up late or have to leave early?
That is okay, however, we have taken the time to select and guide speakers who will deliver stimulating talks so we hope that you are able to enjoy them all.
Is there a seating arrangement?
This is an unreserved, seated event; seating will be available on a first-come-first- served basis. Attendees are encouraged to change seats after each session.
Can I take a break then return to my seat?
Sure but we cannot guarantee that your seat mate will not invite someone else to take your place.
How many people attend?
We will have roughly 400 in attendance.
Are tickets for reserved seating or general assembly? We have a group wanting to attend; should we buy tickets as a group to sit together?
Tickets are general assembly for conference attendees. You can purchase tickets separately as they do not reserve a specific seat. We recommend arriving when the doors open or soon after to give your party enough time to find seats together before we commence.
What is the dress code?
Casual attire is recommended. We want you to be as comfortable as possible.
Are media passes being offered?
Journalists are welcomed to apply personally as attendees. For media passes, please feel free to contact us.
Are car park facilities available at the venue?
